中国计量大学坐落于历史文化名城——浙江省杭州市，是一所以工为主，理、工、管等多学科协调发展、特色鲜明、优势突出的高等院校，系浙江省与国家市场监管总局共建大学和浙江省重点建设高校。

二、论坛简介

为进一步推进学校高质量发展，围绕登峰学科和高水平大学建设，中国计量大学第四届国际青年学者论坛定于2023年11月19日-21日在中国浙江杭州举办，热忱邀请并欢迎全球相关领域顶级专家、知名学者和卓越青年英才积极参与。

论坛将通过专题报告、学术研讨、人才洽谈和实地参观等形式，增进海内外优秀青年学者对学校的全面了解，荟萃学术精英力量，与优秀学者共同探索学术前沿问题。论坛议程详细信息届时将在邀请函中载明。

三、邀约对象

年龄一般不超过40周岁（特别优秀者可不受年龄限制），具有海内外知名大学博士学位，在相关学科领域取得一定成绩或具有发展潜力的优秀青年学者：

1.领军人才：在海内外知名大学或科研机构有正式教学或科研职位，海外学习工作经历不少于5年，在本学科领域取得突出创新学术成果者。

2.骨干人才：年龄一般不超过35周岁，具有一年以上海外知名大学或科研机构学习工作经历，在本学科领域取得较好的科研学术成果者。

3.青年英才：年龄在35周岁以下，在本学科领域取得一定科研学术成果或具有良好发展潜力的优秀青年学者。

四、岗位待遇

六、交通食宿

报名参加青年学者国际论坛活动，并申请应聘相关岗位者，经学校确认并发出参会邀请函，可在参会后凭邀请函获得参会期间的交通补助。根据相关规定，机票限报经济舱、铁路限报二等座。

国内及港澳地区学者大交通费按财务政策实报实销，原则上最高报销5000元人民币；海外学者大交通费最高报销1.3万元人民币(亚洲地区8000元人民币)。因故不能参加现场线下会议但参加线上交流的邀约对象，2024年6月前入职可按上述标准报销来校大交通费。

论坛期间食宿由学校统一安排，费用由学校承担。

Ⅰ. About China Jiliang University (CJLU)

China Jiliang University (CJLU) is a multi-disciplinary institution specialized in engineering education and research, offering a wide range of educational programs in science, engineering, management, etc. with distinctive features and advantages. Located in Hangzhou, the picturesque capital city of Zhejiang Province known for its rich history and culture, CJLU is a key provincial university jointly supported by Zhejiang Provincial government and the State Administration for Market Regulation.

CJLU has 19 colleges (departments, centers) with 23,000 full-time students pursuing their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The University has 2 first-level disciplines authorized to offer doctorate degrees ("Instrument Science and Technology" and "Optical Engineering"), 15 first-level disciplines authorized to offer master’s degrees, and 11 professional master’s programs. It also has one first-class discipline co-built by Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City, 10 Zhejiang Provincial first-class disciplines, and 4 disciplines on the ESI Top 1%. Additionally, 18 undergraduate programs of CJLU are recognized as national first-class programs.

CJLU is home to over 1,400 full-time teaching faculty. Among them, there are Academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, recipients of the National High-level Talents Special Support Program, and winners of the National Distinguished Young Scientist Fund. The University boasts over 40 provincial and ministerial-level research platforms, including a National Quality Inspection Center, a key laboratory of the State Administration for Market Regulation, an international scientific and technological cooperation base, a national-local joint engineering laboratory, key laboratories designated by the Ministry of Education, and key laboratories in Zhejiang Province. It also has one “National Huang Danian-style Teaching Team in Institutions of Higher Learning” and one national-level teaching team.

Ⅱ. About the Forum

The 4th CJLU International Forum for Young Scholars will be held from Nov. 19 to 21, 2023 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The forum aims at building a platform for academic exchange and research presentation for young scholars to promote the high-quality development of CJLU through building top-level disciplines. We warmly welcome experts, scholars, and young talents from home and abroad to join us.

There will be keynote speeches, seminars and panels, introduction to remuneration package of CJLU and field visits at the forum. By focusing on research frontiers and hot topics, the forum is expected to enhance academic communication and cooperation among young scholars, deepen their understanding of CJLU and attract them to join. Detailed forum agenda will be provided in the invitation letter.

III. Application Requirements

The applicants shall be under 40 years of age (outstanding scholars will be exempted from the age restriction), possess a doctoral degree from a world-class university, have made certain achievements or shown potential in related fields of study, including:

1. Leading Talents: Scholars holding a formal teaching or research position at a world-class university or research institution, with a minimum of 5 years of overseas study or work experience, and having made outstanding innovative achievements in related fields of study;

2. Key Talents: Scholars with at least one year of study or work experience at a renowned university or research institution overseas, with fine achievements in related fields of study, and generally under the age of 35;

3. Young Talents: Scholars under the age of 35 with certain achievements or showing potential in related fields of study.

IV. Benefits

V. Forum Schedule

VI. Subsidies for Participants

For young scholars who receive invitations and apply for relevant positions, CJLU will provide transportation subsidies after they participate in the forum and present the invitation letter. According to relevant regulations, air tickets are limited to economy class, and train tickets are limited to second class seats.

The reimbursement of transportation is in accordance with the expenses-based financial policy. For scholars from the mainland of China, Hong Kong, and Macao, it is up to RMB 5,000 yuan; for overseas scholars, it is up to RMB 13,000 yuan (for scholars from Asian countries and regions, it is up to RMB 8,000 yuan). If invited participants are unable to attend the conference on-site but participate in online exchanges, they are eligible for reimbursement of transportation expenses to the university according to the above-mentioned standards if they are employed by CJLU and join CJLU before June 2024.

During the forum, accommodation will be arranged by CJLU and the expenses will be covered by the university.
